Little Egret Singapore

A little Egret is photographed stalking its prey in shallow waters. It used to be a common sighting all over Singapore a few years back during the winter season. It is a seasonal species in Singapore has flies back up north when it gets warmer there.

I positioned myself as low as possible to get the reflective stance of the elegant bird stalking it’s prey.

Photographed with Nikon D80 + Sigma 150-500mm DG lens on a basic tripod @
